Ashley Charbonneau, R.N., M.Sc. Psychometrist
Ashley has worked in the area of mental health for 15 years with combined experience as a psychometrist (CHEO Eating Disorders, CHEO Development and Rehabilitation, CHEO Autism Program, University of Ottawa, and private practice), mental health research (Knowledge Institute on Child and Youth Mental Health and Addictions, and Carleton University) and as a Registered Nurse (Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre).
Ashley enjoys working with children and youth of all ages, as well as young adults. She is adaptable to the needs and energy of each person she works with, and aims to make the assessment process a comfortable and positive experience.
In addition to her clinical work, Ashley has been involved in a number of evaluation and quality improvement projects aimed at evaluating and improving health care services, as well as facilitating access to care and evidence-informed health information. Ashley is passionate about making health information accessible, and promoting access to quality care, particularly for vulnerable populations.
Ashley completed her B.A. Honours in Psychology and B.Sc. in Nursing at the University of Ottawa. She obtained her Masters of Science in Psychology, with a specialization in Neuroscience from Carleton University.
