Prior to her work with Cappelli & Associates, she was a faculty member in the department of psychology at Douglas College, teaching introductory and developmental psychology courses. In addition to conducting psychoeducational assessments, she is passionate about research and has conducted research projects in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorders, social aggression and bullying, and most recently, high school student retention programming.

Danielle earned her PhD in developmental psychology from Carleton University in 2013 and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in 2014. In her continuing education, she has completed The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule training and the Autism Navigator for Early Intervention Providers course.
