Rachel is an experienced psychometrist working with children and youth with various social, emotional, and behavioural challenges in clinical and research settings. She is also actively involved in research at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Research Institute, contributing to projects focused on improving mental health services for children and youth.
Rachel’s thoughtful nature and patience help create a welcoming and supportive space for children to feel comfortable and engaged in a testing environment while adjusting her approach to support individual needs. Rachel is committed to identifying each child’s strengths and challenges and providing meaningful recommendations to support their academic and personal growth.
Rachel holds a Master of Arts in Developmental Psychology from Carleton University, where her research focused on interventions to support the mental health and well-being of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. She also earned a B.A. in Psychology from McGill University and an Honours B.A. in Psychology from Carleton University. Dedicated to expanding her knowledge and expertise, she plans to pursue a degree in Clinical Psychology to continue supporting children and families through research and assessment.
