Stéphanie Drouin, MEd, RP
Psychotherapist & Clinical Associate
Stéphanie is passionate about helping children, teens, young adults, and their families feel understood, supported, and empowered. She creates a warm, welcoming space where young people can talk openly about what they are going through, whether it’s anxiety, depression, anger, ADHD, or challenges with stress, school, friendships, and family dynamics. Her approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, meaning she meets each client exactly where they are and works at a pace that feels safe and comfortable.
To support each person’s unique needs, Stéphanie draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and psychoeducation. She values working collaboratively with both youth and their parents, helping families build skills, strengthen communication, and navigate life’s challenges together.
Stéphanie completed her Honours B.Sc. in Psychology and her Master of Education in Counselling Psychology at the University of Ottawa. In addition to her clinical work, she is involved in research on youth mental health at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Research Institute and provides clinical support for groups through the Knowledge Institute on Children & Youth Mental Health and Addictions. This blend of clinical experience and research allows her to bring informed and compassionate care to every session.
Above all, Stéphanie wants her clients to feel hopeful, capable, and supported. She guides them in understanding their emotions, developing practical tools, and discovering their own strength so they can move forward with confidence and hope for the future.
